The Cutest Bear In The Universe

Holiday & Travel In Bali Indonesia

Waiting in the airport lounge for my flight to Bali 🌺🌺 My beary first time in Indonesia!

Waiting for my connecting flight from Singapore to Denpasar, Bali Indonesia

Arrived at Ngurah Rai international airport, Denpasar, Bali. My driver from @teddysbalitours was waiting for me at the arrival hall, he was holding a card with my name and my mama’s name on it hahahaha. I’m so excited to go out & see what Bali is like…woo hoo 😀😀🐻🐻

After arriving at the airport, I was sooooo hungry, so I asked my driver to take me to @cabinabali for floating brunch first before heading to the hotel in Ubud. I chose the biggest tropical brunch set without asking mama hee hee😅😅🥐🍳☕ This is my beary first time trying the floating breakfast/brunch. It was soooo cool !!!! It’s a must try when you visit Bali 🌺🌺🌺

Finished all the food! Shall we go explore the café now? The weather is really good!

What a big sofa and it’s my favourite colour!!!! Let’s have a sunbath !!!!

Mama!!!! Can we order more food , so I can eat while waiting for my fur to be dry? 😅😅🐻🐻🥐🍳☕🍛

While I was sitting here to let mama take photos of me, a sweet couple who sat next to us suddenly asked my mama “what’s with the bear? Is it just for fun?” My mama told them it’s for fun but I have so many followers on Instagram. The lady immediately handed over her phone to my mama to show her my account (I helped her press the “follow” button quickly hahahaha).

She was so surprised to see me in lots of different clothes at many places around the world. They were so sweet to me and played with me too!!! 😅😅😅 I wanted to stay with them longer but my mama said we should leave to our hotel now.

Arrived at our hotel, Kama Bisma Cottage, Ubud (and I am still in my bikini hahaha). The staff are soooo nice and helpful. They welcome us with this delicious smoothie and chocolate cake.

Now let me show you my chalet!!! It’s sooo spacious, clean and comfy. Love these large windows overlooking the rice field and lots of trees 🌳🌴🌴🌴 The bathroom is semi-outdoor hee hee. The hotel itself is on a peaceful street but still in a walking distance to Ubud centre. There’re lots of nice café and restaurants nearby too! ❤️❤️❤️

Let’s go check the hotel’s pool out! So good, I have the whole pool to myself, I guess everyone is outside now and there’re only 5 or 6 villas here. It’s such a nice pool overlooking the little forest 🌳🌳🌳 Love it!!!! ❤️ Oh and this is my new swimwear, it’s my first time wearing a one piece swimwear, how do guys like it? 😆😆😆

Mama asked me to jump into the pool, but I wanted to test first if the water was too cold 😝😝😝

Let’s go to Ubud city centre to have dinner! I’m super hungry now. This is the rice field next to my hotel, it’s soooo green. I love it 🌿🌿🌿

My first meal in Bali! I had Bebek Betutu for dinner. Bebek Betutu is a Balinese dish of steamed or roasted duck in rich bumbu betutu. This highly seasoned and spiced dish is a popular dish in Bali and Lombok, Indonesia. My mama got herself Miso glazed monkfish.

One day trip to Nusa Penida! My driver, uncle Merta, picked me up from the hotel at 6.30 a.m., we then headed to Sanur port to take a speedboat to the island. We were early enough to catch the first boat. We arrived at Nusa Penida about an hour later, there was another local guide and driver, uncle Ketut, waiting for us there. First stop, Broken Beach!

There’s a folktale about the Broken Beach, this area used to be a village. One day, a massive snake passed through the village and the villagers butchered and devoured the snake. Then, there was an old beggar arrived at the village and said he was the owner of the snake. He actually knew that the villagers had killed his snake. But he politely asked the villagers about his snake. Everyone lied and said they had no idea of its whereabout.

The beggar then pulled out a magic stick and lunged it into the ground. If any of the villagers were telling the truth, they will be able to pull the stick off the ground. After countless failed attempts, the old beggar pulled the magic stick. There was a huge earthquake and the whole village collapse leaving no traces of existence. Just a huge hole like the one in Broken Beach now.

We then walked to the next attraction — Manta Point. It is a popular dive spot off the south shore of Nusa Penida Island. It’s so named as it’s one of the main dive sites in Bali where you can spot manta rays. These graceful rays are visible on almost every dive, along with spotted stingrays and nurse sharks. I got to see a massive manta ray and lots of dolphins (pic 3) too!!! 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬So excited!!!!!😍😍

After finished exploring Broken Beach and Manta point, where you can enjoy a view of natural limestone arches over the blue waters, my guide then took me to walk along the trail that led me to Angel’s Billabong.

Here at Angel’s Billabong, you can enjoy a dip in the rock pools or swim around the entire lagoon if you’re feeling adventurous. Warning! Only swim during low tide. If it’s high tide, the waves will crash against the jagged rocks very hard!

Then we drove to our next stop — Kelingking! This is the highlight of our Nusa Penida trip! Kelingking now has become one of the main attractions of Nusa Penida and Bali. It has become so popular because it looks like a T-Rex head from the top. From the viewpoint, you have a look over the limestone formations, ocean, and Kelingking Beach.

The walk down to this beach is a hard one and might be even the most difficult beach to reach in Bali. You can enjoy the view from above or you can go down to the beach which takes around 30 mins. It requires a great stamina to go steep 500-700ft down and climb back. At some point your knee will be in front of your belly while climbing up the steep stairs. The path looks a bit scary to me, so I and my mama didn’t go down to the beach 😅😅

Last stop before leaving Nusa Penida, Paluang Cliff. It’s like a viewpoint here that you can enjoy the view of the other side of the T-Rex for free.

But if you want to take photos at the bird nest or the ship , you gotta pay IDR 5,000 which I think it’s cheap and worth it. I tried to pose like Jack and Rose in Titanic too but no one wanted to be Jack for me hahahaha 😅😅😅

Bye Bye, Nusa Penida! You’re so beautiful ♥️♥️♥️ Till we meet again!

We arrived at our hotel in late afternoon after a day trip in Nusa Penida island. My mama felt sick cos the waves were sooooo big! She threw up on the speedboat once and again in the car on the way back hahaha😝😝😝 I felt absolutely fine cos I’m still young and mama is old hee hee 😅😅😅

The hotel staff was soooo sweet, when they saw us, they immediately prepared a complimentary afternoon tea set for us. Their bananas with syrup tasted soooo good. The hot tea made my mama feel a lot better. Kama Bisma staff are superb!

My cotton tummy is super full after having the afternoon tea! Now I’m ready to go explore Ubud town! Mama, let’s go!!!!

I had a chance to watch traditional Bali dances at Ancak Saji Ubud Palace courtyard too, it was fantastic! Lots of tourists here, the place is awesome too! Ticket price is IDR 100,000 and it’s worth it!

I ordered chicken schnitzel for dinner but it tasted nothing like schnitzel hahahaha. I guess it was my fault to order schnitzel in Bali lol 😅😅😅

It’s breakfast time!!! 😀🥐☕🍳 I’ve chosen croissants and banana pancake today! Guess where are we going after this? Bali Swing!!!! Yay!!!

It’s time for what I have been waiting for….Bali Swing!!! Are you scared of heights? My mama screamed her lung out mwahahaha 😅😂😂😂This is just a piece of cake for me!

I am a little bird in a small nest 😘🕊️🕊️🐦🐦🐦 (My mama kept yelling back “you’re not a small bird, you’re more like an ostrich) 🙄🙄🙄

Uma Pakel Bird's Nest at Bali

Uma Pakel Bird's Nest at Bali

This lovely lady is the super awesome staff at Uma Pakel Bali swing. She was the one who took care of us for the whole time we were there. She was so friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about her job. She took us around, explained everything, took hundred of photos for me and my mama everywhere we wanted, paid attention to a bear like me and the list goes on!

Uma Pakel Bird's Nest at Bali

I was so impressed by her hospitality untill I had to ask for a selfie with her. She smiled like this for the whole time she was with us. I told her how awesome she is and that she should keep up her good work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars for Uma Pakel and this lovely lady!

I got to try some Bali tea, coffee and hot chocolate before leaving Uma Pakel too. It’s so good!!!!

Some more photos from Uma Pakel Bali, there were really so many spots and facilities for photography!

If you love taking photos like I and my mama do, here is your right place! Now let’s move to our next stop!!!

Welcome to Tegalalang Rice terrace, the weather was a bit humid but it gave me such fresh air!!! It’s so beautiful, I love it!!!🌱🌱🌱

Mamaaaaa, let’s go down and get some rice and bring back home!!!! 🌱🌱🌱🌱

Next stop, Tirta Empul or the temple of holy water! This is the massive tree in front of the entrance. If you are humans, you will have to wrap yourself with a sarong before entering the temple. I’m a bear so, I don’t need it haha 😅 Let’s go check inside!

For over a thousand years, Balinese Hindu worshipers have been drawn to Pura Tirta Empul (Holy Water Temple), whose sacred springs are said to have been created by The God Indra and possess curative properties. This tradition still continues almost unchanged till now.

I wanted to go bathe in this refreshing blessed water too but my mama said she will leave me here cos she didn’t want to carry a wet & heavy bear around Bali 🙄😆🐻🐻

Lots of fishes here!!! I asked mama if we can feed them, mama said I can even be their food cos the fishes are sooooo big haha 🐠🐠🐠🐠

Stopped by this restaurant for lunch on the the way to our next stop which took 3 hours to reach there OMG!!! They have fantastic rice field next to their restaurant!

Lots of humans saw me and said hi to me hahaha….🐻😅

I still couldn’t get used to Bali local food, so I just simply ordered a sunny side up and some shrimp soup! 🍳😝

Finally arrived at Lempuyang temple after 3 hours on the mountain road! I obviously looked so tired haha😝 This was just the beginning of the story…haha…we had to queue here for almost two hours to get our photos taken at the gate behind me!

Every visitor to the temple needs to rent a sarong and wear it all the time. The entrance fee depends on how much you are willing to donate, the sarong rental fee is IDR 5000.

And this is the signature photo that everyone who visits Lempuyang temple gets if they are patient enough to queue! The ornate stone gate made up of two tall pillars in between which you can go stand there & pose for pretty photos (3 actions / person) with the stunning Mount Agung volcano as a backdrop.

I arrived here in late afternoon and unfortunately it was too cloudy to see the volcano. The lake you see here isn’t real. In fact, it’s an illusion created by photographers (the temple staff) who manage the effect by holding mirrors under the camera lens as they take their photo.

Pura Lempuyang Temple is a Balinese Hindu temple located in the slope of Mount Lempuyang, 1,175 meters above sea level. It has become more popular in recent years amongst tourists because of the mirror effect photos at the gate like I previous posted. There are two sections to the temple, a lower level and an upper level.

Those behind me are the three stairways that lead to higher temples at Pura Lempuyang Temple Bali. I didn’t climb up there because it was getting dark soon and we needed to drive to Ubud for another 3 hours haha 😅😝😝

We stopped by Tirta Ganga the water palace for a short while to feed the fishes before heading back to Ubud. We made it there 30 mins before the closing time and were the last group who left the place. How lucky haha 😝😅🐻🐻

Good morning!!!! Rise and shine 🌞🌞🌞 Cannot wait to have my breakfast soon hahahahaha.

I get to watch sunrise in my bedroom! How good! I love sunshine. What about you? Do you prefer sunset or sunrise? I love both 🕊️🌞🌱🐻🌞

My healthy breakkie!!! I had some toast, sunny side up and fruits today. What did you guys have for breakfast today? 🥰🥰🍳🍳☕☕🥐🥐🥐🥐

Enjoying the morning breeze at Ulun Danu temple, Bali…🥰🥰🥰

Wearing my new dress I got from Tirta Empul temple the day before 😀😀😀 It’s made from Balinese fabric! Do you guys like it?

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan (Lake Bratan’s temple) is also known as the Floating Temple. It is one of the most mesmerizing temples in Bali which was built over 350 years ago.

The temple area is huge and decorated with beautiful garden and various flowers.

I recommend you guys to go as early as you can for better chances to catch good weather and as I noticed, by early afternoon, loads of tourist coaches arrive making it crowded!

This place is quite unique, with Indonesia located at the equator and to have a cool place like this is a premium.

I really enjoy the weather here!!!! Mamaaaaa….can we stay here forever? 😅😅

Hiding from mama! Do you think she will be able to find me? Mwahahahaha 😂😂😂

The wind was so strong, it was so hard for me to sit straight hahaha 😅😅😅 I kept falling down till my mama was upset LOL 😂😂

Lots of beautiful flowers here, I love them all!!! But I don’t know their names at all haha😅😅🌷🌺🌸🌻🌼💮

I didn’t really get to stand much here cos the wind was so strong haha 😅😅😅 This time I have learned how to lean on the bushes hee hee

Thinking about what I should have for lunch hee hee 😅😅😅 Mamaaa…. I’m hungry already!

Last shots before leaving the Ulun Danu temple.

Lunch with a view!!!! I love my fried fish so much!!!!

My last stop in Bali, Tanah Lot temple! Follow me, your bear guide is here!!!! 🐻🐻🐻 Follow me!

Have to go through a lot of gates before actually getting to see the temple and the sea as usual hahaha but they all are beautiful!!!! What a sunny day!!!!

Tanah lot temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. So romantic, isn’t it?

Behind me is the ancient hindu shrine at Tanah Lot temple perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves. It’s so amazing!!!!

Waiting for the sunset at Tanah Lot temple. This will be my last sunset in Bali. I’m going to miss Bali a lot❤️

Saying goodbye to Bali, uncle Merta, my personal driver and local guide dropped me off at the airport. Without him, my Bali trip would not have been so easy, comfy and enjoyable! He always helps my mama carry me along the trip (I’m not heavy but you know I’m a bit taller than other plushies haha).

He is a super hardworking daddy of three daughters. If you guys are interested in coming to Bali, please contact or sending email to and request to have uncle Nengah Merta as your driver (swipe to see his name card). I’m not getting any commission for promoting him but I love uncle Merta haha.

Bye bye Bali, you’ve been so awesome! Till we meet again! 🐻☺️😄🙂❤️🌿🌄🌅 I have to rush back to join the Halloween party hahaha!
